At three months old, Ella Guertin, daughter of Fitchburg, MA, Branch Manager Jeff Guertin, was diagnosed with biliary atresia, a rare, life-threatening liver disease.
At six years old, she met Brittany McDonnell, who ran the Boston Marathon in her honor.
In April, at age 18, Ella completed her first Boston Marathon, raising $13,000 for the American Liver Foundation.
