Lansing Foundation Animated Emblem

“From little seeds grow mighty trees.”

Our Promise

As a trusted supplier of building products for over 60 years in 25 states across the country, we’re committed to giving back to the communities that have given us so much, placing particular emphasis on youth development, environmental conservation, medical research, and the care of children and adults with special needs.

We’re determined to live out our mission statement in every aspect of our work, embodying respect, service, and excellence not only with the products and services that we provide, but also through the lives that we touch in the communities we serve.

How we impact our community

Children and Adults with Special Needs

Our goal is to enhance the dignity and quality of life of children and adults with special needs by providing community-based mentorship, employment, and independence.

Homes and Shelters

More than 500,000 people are homeless in the United States, and The Lansing Foundation helps provide resources and funding for those in desperate need of housing, shelter, food, and other essentials.

Afterschool Programs

We believe in Afterschool programs that support children and youth of all ages to improve academic performance, classroom behavior, and health and nutrition.

ALS and Cancer Research

A cause close to the heart of the Lansing family after Founder Ted Lansing passed away from ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis), our foundation helps fund research to expedite the discovery of treatments and a cure for ALS and other diseases.

Leadership

We believe everyone can learn the skills necessary to become a great leader, and the Lansing family is actively involved in organizations that provide mentorship and leadership opportunities for all.

Environmental and Conservation

Protecting and preserving the environment is at the core of the Lansing family. Our goal is to promote clean water, reduce pollution, and build healthy and sustainable habitats.

Education

More than half of public school students either drop out of high school or graduate ill-prepared for the demands of college and the workforce. We believe that knowledge is power, and our goal is to empower students K-12 and their families to help improve educational opportunities and outcomes.
