September 2024

During Summer of Service, the Lansing Foundation encourages associates to make a positive impact by volunteering with different organizations and charities in their community.

Braintree (MA) outside sales representatives Alyssa Martin and Angelo Galluzzo organized an August Cornhole Tournament fundraiser supporting the Ellie Fund, a Massachusetts-based organization providing support to breast cancer patients.

Minneapolis associates dedicated a September evening to volunteer at Feed My Starving Children, a non-profit organization that coordinates the packaging and distribution of food to people in over 60 countries. The team packed enough food bags to feed 28 children for a year.

Our Richmond-based Human Resources team volunteered for a rewarding afternoon of Lansing Foundation service supporting Soar 365, which creates life-fulfilling opportunities for individuals with disabilities. The team got their hands dirty washing windows, clearing flower beds, and moving mulch.

Lansing offers 16 hours of paid time off each calendar year to participate in volunteer opportunities that directly support a beneficiary of the Lansing Foundation or other 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations.

Over 50 branches and departments across 35 states participated in Summer of Service making a positive impact in the communities we serve.
